About This Event
Come taste the past in this ancient-inspired ale tasting event hosted by Dr. Marie Hopwood, VIU Department of Anthropology, and Dave Paul, Brewer of LoveShack Libations. Sample libations crafted from recipes of the past, and learn about the archaeology behind the brews. Light appetizers provided.

Presentations about the archaeology behind the beers given by VIU Professor of Anthropology (Archaeology) Dr. Marie Hopwood, VIU Anthropology students, and the Owner/Brewer of LoveShack Libations, Dave Paul.
